Hello there! ♥ My name's
Nicole, though I'm sometimes referred to as
Cole, Nicki, Nic, or just
N, lol. My rapper name is
N Ice just in case you were wondering. :P My life has so far consisted of fifteen years and I'm a sophomore at a private, Catholic high school. I live in none other than the land of corn...Indiana! :)
Check the box under the stats for more info about me, haha. ;) If you have any questions or comments, go ahead and ask! I love to talk to different people, so comment anytime. :]
Just so you know, I'm set to
Vote Secretly right now. So sometimes when I vote for you, it might not show right away. Please vote me 10s, comment me saying you did, and I'll always return the favor! =)
I love to do daily 10s as well, so tell me if you want to do them with me! Have any questions? Just ask! Thanks for your support! I definitely appreciate it! :D
1. First off all, Indiana (IN) is mostly known for corn, basketball, and the Indy 500.
2. Is it a myth that Indiana is mostly made up of corn, corn, and...more corn? No, it's most definitely true. Even though there are some cities here, for the most part, corn takes over.
Want to explore the wonders of a corn maze or go on an oh-so-fun hay ride? Come to Indiana! In simpler terms: Indiana's basically the land of corn.
3. I've heard a few times that Indiana is the "heartland" of the U.S. <3
But did you know that the nickname for Indiana is the
Hoosier state? If that isn't lovely enough, the definition of
Hoosiers is: a native or resident of Indiana. But it can also mean that we're hillbillies. Well, that's only according to my eighth grade teacher who made us look it up in our handy dandy dictionaries. That's definitely
not offensive.
4. Yearn for privacy? There are plenty of places in Indiana where you can live in the middle of nowhere. If you live here, you know what I'm talking about. Yay fields and farmlands!
Also if you're thinking about "Going Green," come here, to Indiana. You'll most likely see plenty of green. Probably too much.
5. Luckily for me, in Indiana, you can get your drivers permit at 15, and your license at 16! Whoo!
6. There are quite a few nice colleges in Indiana.
Examples:
Notre Dame (South Bend)
I.U. (Bloomington)
Purdue (Lafayette)
7. Did you know that there is actually a city called Farmland, Indiana? Yes, true fact there people.
8. Cool celebs that are from Indiana:
The Jackson family - Gary, IN
James Dean - Marion, IN
Vivica A. Fox - South Bend, IN
David Letterman - Indianapolis, IN
Axyl Rose - Lafayette, IN
9. Some Sugarlooters from good ol' Indiana:
Me (being an Indiana native, lol)
Dominique
Andrea
Rebecca
Desiree
Michelle
Vee
Ashleigh
Emily
Taylor
Candace
10. I definitely hope you enjoyed this. I know I did. :) I guess I can say that I have a love-hate relationship with Indiana. Even though it's overpopulated...with corn, I’ve grown to love where I come from. Embrace the corn!
Lastly, I just want to say one last thing: GO INDIANA!
(If anyone wants me too add anything else about IN, just tell me and I’d be glad to!)
