The MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS is nothing more than having 2 or more registered accounts in with different profiles or identity. It is considered by SL as illegal and once they are identified, all those accounts will be de-activated permanently by them. Please take note that it doesn't matter how many accounts you created, only 1 vote will be validated each day for each entry from the same Internet Connection or IP address.

The GUESTS don't have to be registertered in order to vote but they can not interact. Anyone including those already registered can be a guest. This is one of the flaws of the voting system. The same person can jump around to another IP address and vote as guest.

MULTIPLE IP ADDRESSES is the most dreadful of all. Anyone who has the capability of acquiring this can either vote or downvote an entry several times by the hundreds as a Guest at any given time. This is the real flaw that I have been talking about. Some knows how to camouflage their dreadful deeds but some are just blunt about it.

Whereas, downvoting itself is not really an illegal act neither it is a cheat unless you lie and decieve the one you are voting for.

You will notice sometimes on the proof that several of them have exactly the same results, meaning the number of votes did not change. This happens when they voted exactly at the same time and because of the delay for SL to update. This is normal.

However, if their votes are seperated by several minutes then that is a different story. It is possible that the last person must have already voted earlier and thus the vote did not count or it is invalid so the number of votes did not change. If that person left a comment or proof previously then you have no worries, but if there is no sign or comment earlier and secretly voting then you are dealing with a cheater. If the person is voting Public and there is no sign of a previous vote then that person has a multiple account and using the same IP for both.

My advice is that, when you are trading 10s to unfamiliar persons, copy and paste that proof to avoid suspiciouns regardless whether you are voting secretly or publicly.

All it takes is just one highlight and one right-click & copy before selecting that "Post Comment" and another right-click & paste before sending it (or copy is CTRL+C, while paste is CTRL+V). Well, how much time do you really need for that compared to typing those several letters to construct a comment? I prefer not to give the other person the benefit of a doubt of my honesty by just giving the proof.
